The N3 and Pandemic (N3PL) partner coalitions are in a continuous struggle with CFC and Russian (CFC/RUS) forces, but both sides usually hesitate to commit their biggest ships to battles due to the risk of losing resources without getting much in return. The Eve universe is almost constantly embroiled in war. The Titan ships, which are the largest in the game, take months and billions of ISK to construct, and when one of the player groups loses a Titan, it hurts. How could a make-believe war lead to the loss of actual cash? Well, because Eve Online has a fully functioning economy because players can exchange in-game currency (known as ISK) for more game time, which has a real value. At the current rate, $1 is worth about 32.5 million ISK. Well, at least in a division.Yes, that’s $300,000 in real-world money. Fun for a short while, probably for the first few days. But yeah, probably will quickly get annoying And everything has a new special sound effect so you have literally no idea which beep means what. Like why can't it be normal loudness god damnit. Not even speaking of the difficulty to visually recognize range (everything seems closer than it is) or enemy speed (literally no reference points behind them, if you are locked on them - it's just a ship on a black background) It's fun because it's different, but I can see it becoming annoying after a short while.Īiming is generally off (aiming too low) for everyone as you also see the underwater part of the ship and it takes some getting used to, torps can be hard to spot and tell where they are going, islands are so dark they just blend with the background so unless you are steering your ship by the minimap you're bound to run into them even if you are looking in their direction.
